The Journey Begins...

I would like to personally thank you for visiting flouishingrace.com! I am super excited about the assignment that God has given me and I am grateful that each one of you are joining me on this wonderful journey. Some of you may be new to the faith and others may have been walking with Christ for quite some time, but that is the least of the matter. Regardless of where you are in your walk, continuous growth is necessary. Over the past few years I have learned so much about my heavenly father and how he sees and loves me. I can look back with a clearer perspective and see that through every up and down, His hand was there the entire time.

We all have different stories that have been shaped by our past experiences, relationships, decisions, etc. In one way or another, it has shaped our view of ourselves and of God. Either it has drawn us closer to Him or it has caused us to move further away. What ever may be true for you, It is my hope and prayer that through every devotional you read, you will gain a new level of perspective of how much God loves you. It is my hope that you will receive the gift of His grace as a safe place to grow.

I am a firm believer that the Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth (John 16:13). So, as you read each devotional, I encourage you to let the Holy Spirit guide you on your journey to a personal relationship with Jesus and His word.

When I think of all this, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.
